ANESTHESIA:
General, regional or local with sedation

SURGERY:
After the anesthesia, we marked the areas and we accomplished infiltration of a solution that will promote blood drawn reduction during the surgery. To begin the surgical procedure, the surgeon makes a small incision, just large enough to allow the insertion of a hollow tube called a cannula. The opposite end of the cannula is attached to a machine that creates a strong vacuum. The surgeon manipulates the cannula deep within the fat layers under the skin, breaking up the fat and suctioning it out. Suction-assisted lipectomy usually takes 2 – 3 hours.

SCARS:
Small scars (1cm) in hidden areas.

POSTOPERATIVE:
After the surgery, the patient stay 1 day in a hospital. He/she will use a belt for 30 days. In the 10th postoperative day, we began the drainage sessions. The result begins to appear with 1 week and it is defined with 3-6 months. The expertise, ability and the surgeon's experience are the responsible factors for the good result.
